Brio App for downloading books

Have had my Thrive for about 10 days and have attempted to download 2 different books (1 before I completed all the updates and 1 after I had completed updates).  Both of them responded with: 

From RFC 2068 Hypertest Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1

10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

The first ended up in the Book Place, but indicated it could not find the file........  the first one has already charged to my credit card.  the second one did not show up in the Book Place, but I received an e-mail that it would be charged against my account. I contacted Brio almost a week ago and no response.  I tried calling yesterday and got the busy signal...   Anyone have a suggestion??
