SD Card Slot Problem

Hi . This is my first posting on the Forum ,I hope I am doing it in the right place.

           I am having problem with the SD Card slot on my Thrive  i can't insert any SD card into it.
The card will go in but wont click down and stay in.
I have had the Thrive for about 10 months and have only used the card slot about 3 or  4 times as I've been using USB sticks.
  I thought I would use the Card slot again ,only to discover this , has anyone else had this problem.?
