Hi Ralph, do you have a file management app installed? If not, search the Play Store for "ES File Explorer". In my personal opinion it's the best one.

What exactly is happening? Are you getting a blank screen? Do you only see part of the webpage? Are you getting any popup error notifications?

Toshiba Thrive Help / Re: Secure WiFi connection- when traveling

Your best alternative would be to tether your Thrive to your cell phone (provided you have an Android phone that can be configured to act as a secured WiFi hotspot). Although this may incur extra data/roaming charges on your phone bill.

Tom, the GPS will always be searching for satellites, as it needs to if your Thrive physically moves. If it stopped searching then it would not be able to triangulate your position.

I downloaded an App called ES File Explorer (I have an Acer Iconia Tab A500) and there's options there to set it up so you can view files on a private network. You'll have to make your PC viewable and give shared folder permissions to the folders that have your media. It does take some work, and from personal experience I just found it faster to physically transfer the files to my tablet via USB.
